Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń is among the elite group of ten Polish universities that have been granted research university status in the ministry’s competition. The programme is one of the key elements of the reform of science and higher education in Poland. Its goal is to increase the international significance of the university’s activities by raising the quality of its research and education. The priority is to support the best Polish universities in effective competition with the top academic centers in Europe and around the world.

Academic Journal Platform is a website that enables the publication and distribution of academic journals from Nicolaus Copernicus University and its partner institutions. Currently, the database contains over one hundred titles. The platform supports the entire publishing process – from article submission to publication. Thanks to the open access model, readers can access scholarly publications free of charge. The platform increases the visibility of research, facilitates the exchange of knowledge, and promotes high standards of scholarly communication.
